The historic town of Luther, Oklahoma, is gearing up for its most significant weekend of the year, featuring the Pecan Festival, Whoville Christmas lighting, and the much-anticipated Luther Founders' Day 5K Run!

Location: 108 S Main St, Luther, OK 73054.
Please note that the race has been rescheduled to November 19, 2023, from its original date of March 18, 2023.
Significance of Luther Founders' Day 5K Run:
Organized by the Luther Economic Development Authority, the Founders' Day 5K Run commemorates Luther's quasiquicentennial, marking its 125th birthday. The event is a celebration of the town's heritage, bringing the community together.
Luther 5K Run Route:
The 5K route, starting and ending downtown, showcases the historic Booker T Washington Park and the picturesque countryside. Participants not only receive a finisher prize and T-shirt but are also invited to an after-party at the Luther Pecan Festival.
Registration Fee: The registration fee for the event is $30.
CHE’s support to Luther Founders’ Day 5K Run:
Country Home Estates RV park, located at 18022 N Hogback Rd., across from Luther High School, will serve as a rest stop during the Luther Founders' 5K. They are excited to support runners by providing hydration and snacks for their journey.
Newly Included Events of Luther 2023:
This year's festival introduces the lighting of Luther's holiday attraction on Saturday, celebrating the town's 125th anniversary.
The "L'Whotherville" lighting at 5 p.m. on Saturday will feature music by Carter Sampson, along with appearances from the Grinch, Whos, and Santa.
The evening will also include shopping and a street dance featuring The Wagon Wheel Band.
